Principal Product Manager Data & Analytics Platform and Governance
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our global Sabre Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform team, where innovation knows no borders. This team plays a cornerstone role in the development and oversight of our sophisticated data and analytics platform, as well as the governance frameworks that support them. About the Role
As Principal Product Manager, you will lead and elevate our data & analytics platform product management portfolio, driving its overall growth and success within the organization. You will be accountable for ensuring that the data & analytics platforms are not only robust and scalable but also adhere strictly to established data governance principles and compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires designing and implementing policies and processes that safeguard data integrity, security and privacy, thereby maintaining trust with stakeholders and meeting regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize and deliver new product opportunities for data & analytics platforms and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with customers, product managers and product owners to translate the product vision into actionable blueprints.
- Engage stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements, establish priorities, communicate progress and demonstrations, resolve issues and conflicts and manage changes responsively.
- Uncover and understand customer needs, translating them into detailed technical and governance requirements.
- Work effectively with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance and operations to ensure requirements are fully understood and implementation plans align with expectations.
Preferred Qualifications And Education
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in the various product management and technical fields of data and analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong skills in Rally, Agile Methodology and Product QA.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and data warehouse.
- Good to have knowledge of cloud technologies and their services; experience with Google cloud is a plus and certification is preferred.
