Overview

This role is part of our Juicer team at saas.group. Juicer aggregates social media content into a single, visually appealing feed for websites. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will join a small, senior, fully-remote team shipping fast and owning real product slices.

You will benefit from a supportive mentor rotation, pairing with different senior engineers, and a light support engineer rotation to stay close to customers and impact.

Immediate Impact (3-6 months)

  • Ship small features, integrations, and bug fixes.
  • Own operational improvements and participate in support rotation.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and test coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Rails features end-to-end including tests.
  • Create user interfaces using modern CSS, JavaScript, and Alpine.js.
  • Integrate third-party APIs (Meta, Google, Stripe, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Support customer service and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate with design, PM, and marketing on scoped tickets and reviews.
  • Deploy and operate applications on Heroku while monitoring performance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and mentorship rotations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience with Ruby on Rails in a SaaS environment.
  • Good grasp of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript and responsive UI design.
  • Familiarity with JS frameworks like Alpine.js, HTMX, or Stimulus.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, query optimization, and tested code.
  • Knowledge of deployment platforms (Heroku, Render) and background jobs (Sidekiq).
  • A curious, pragmatic mindset with clear communication and ownership.
