Trainee Project Manager

The Role

This Trainee Project Manager role is designed for individuals without a formal Project Management background but who are eager to learn and grow. You will receive formal training, on-the-job tuition, and gradually take part in live projects. The position is full-time with some part-time flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Commit to comprehensive Project Management training and hands-on learning.
• Earn a recognised post graduate Project Management qualification.
• Handle administrative and IT system tasks to build skills.
• Adapt quickly to various tasks to support project needs.
• Study Saab Global Management Systems processes and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential: Proven record in people facing roles, analytical aptitude, problem solving, intermediate IT and data skills, positive attitude, excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational skills, and willingness to travel in the UK and Europe.

Desirable: Degree level qualification and any experience in the defence industry.

Screening

Applicants will undergo workforce screening, including security checks, reference checks, and verification of working rights, with preferred candidates attending a security interview.
