Job Description

Position Overview

SA Hospitality Group, founded by Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli, brings Italian heritage to modern-day New York City. The FOH Barista Part-Time is responsible for handling the counter, greeting guests, and providing requested items in a busy café environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests at the counter and café entrance.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding products and displays.
  • Pack and provide requested items with accuracy.
  • Ensure correct check out and cash drawer operations.
  • Maintain display items using FIFO rules and proper labeling.
  • Keep the counter and display area clean per Health Department standards.
  • Restock and requisition food items and packing products.
  • Report maintenance issues to management.

Minimal Essential Requirements

The role requires teamwork, basic food handling skills, time management under pressure, effective communication in English, active listening, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.
