About Ryanair Labs and the Opportunity
Ryanair Labs, the technology brand of Europe's Largest Airline Group, is actively seeking a Gen AI Intern to join its innovative team. As a state-of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub, Labs is dedicated to crafting Europe’s leading travel experience for customers. This 3-month paid IT Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Ryanair Labs Teams, with the potential for extended cooperation (civil contract/contract of employment for an additional 9 months) and long-term career prospects. We are looking for individuals committed to at least one year of cooperation.

The Gen AI Intern Role
The Gen AI Intern within the Gen AI Pod (GAP) team is a generalist, AI-powered role focused on onboarding new AI use cases onto internal GenAI platforms and external tools, while also expanding platform capabilities at the edge. Responsibilities include supporting work across agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent collaboration within internal tooling and Microsoft Copilot.
The intern will be encouraged to actively use and experiment with cutting-edge foundation models and AI development tools, such as Claude and GitHub Copilot. This role involves exploring their application across the software development lifecycle and broader business domains.
This position demands open-minded thinking, curiosity, and adaptability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a small, innovation-focused, multinational team building enterprise-grade AI applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role involves hands-on support for rapid experimentation, comprehensive documentation, critical integration work, and continuous platform evolution, all aimed at accelerating AI adoption throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Student in a field related to Computer Science or demonstrated interest in IT.
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
