Job Role

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will ensure high-quality delivery across internal platforms including Power Platform applications, client portals, data integrations, and operational tooling. You will utilize structured, agile testing methods to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions. Collaboration with developers, analysts, and stakeholders ensures that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle while mitigating delivery risks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across Power Platform applications.
  • Conduct UI, API, and database testing including SQL data validation.
  • Maintain test plans and regression suites aligned to sprint and release cycles.
  • Log and track bugs and enhancement suggestions using Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Validate system and data integrity across multiple integration points.
  • Support UAT coordination and facilitate feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor, report, and track quality metrics.

Skills & Experience

Experience in QA or software testing in an agile environment, familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies, working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SQL proficiency for data validation, experience in test case design, execution and documentation, and familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps are essential. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.

Desirable Attributes

Experience testing REST APIs and cloud-based services, exposure to Dynamics 365, Dataverse or Azure technologies, and scripting or test automation knowledge.

Work Environment

Standard indoor working environment with occasional long periods of sitting. Regular interaction with employees at all levels and external vendors is expected. Up to 10% travel may be required.
