Job Description
Job Purpose
As a Localization Project Manager at RWS Group, you will join the client’s localization team on an 18-month contract basis. You will work closely with external partners to deliver high-quality localized content for various business units.
About the Role
This role requires a minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a Localization Project Coordinator or Manager. Candidates with both vendor and client experience are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, organize files in SDL WorldServer, and manage vendor allocation.
- Handle vendor Q&A and administrative project tasks.
- Manage localization of web content, software, and perform Localization QA.
- Support client Project Managers with daily tasks and localization requests.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery by coordinating schedules, query cycles, and Linguistic QA.
Skills & Experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Localization Project Management.
- Experience with computer aided translation tools and SDL WorldServer is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with localization best practices and potential challenges.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay is approximately $35-45 per hour. Additional compensation may include performance incentives, bonuses, and benefits such as paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for professional development.
Location & Work Arrangements
This position is open to candidates from any US state; however, you must be able to work on Pacific Standard Time as the client is based in the Bay Area. RWS offers agile work policies with flexible arrangements.
