A thorough understanding of localization file formats (HTML, XML, etc.) is required. Solid experience managing the localization of web content and software, as well as experience managing Localization QA is essential. You will support client’s Project Managers in daily project tasks, assess and execute localization requests submitted by client’s business teams, and analyze requirements and supporting reference material, clearly communicating the same to localization vendors. This role involves creating and processing translation projects in WorldServer, ensuring completion of all project-driven administrative processes, and managing schedule challenges, query cycles, and Linguistic QA to ensure successful delivery to our clients. You will also collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve questions or conflicts related to source file discrepancies, terminology, language quality and workflow.

Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 2 years hands-on Localization Project Management experience is required
  • Experience with computer aided translation tools is required. Experience with SDL WorldServer is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in another language is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail, efficient time-management and strong organizational skills
  • A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to build good relationships
  • Understanding of localization best practices and familiarity with typical “gotchas” involved with localization; demonstrated experience in effectively mitigating issues

Base Pay

$35-45 per hour

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
