Job Description
School Registered Nurse
Rush-Henrietta Central School District is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position as a School Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for the provision and coordination of school health services for students and staff within a school building. The School Registered Nurse will maintain student health and immunization records, conduct various medical screenings, collaborate with the building team to address health-related needs impacting learning, and supervise the health office staff.
Salary
The salary is highly competitive, based on experience and earned graduate credits, in accordance with the Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree or higher in nursing, current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State, and experience in pediatric and/or school nursing.
- Possess professional role-modeling, communication, cultural competence, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of school nursing procedures and services, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Preferred: New York State teaching certification as a School Nurse Teacher.
