About Runway

Runway is seeking a highly-motivated senior IC for the Deployment Strategist role, open to remote hires across the US, with offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle. This role is crucial for enabling Runway's biggest and most strategic partners to successfully adopt Runway's platform for content creation, transforming their workflows. Success requires a blend of technical fluency, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. The Deployment Strategist reports to the Head of Ops & Partnerships and collaborates closely with various teams across Runway.

What You'll Do as a Deployment Strategist

• Own and maintain strong relationships with Runway's top partners, including Fortune 100 companies, major Hollywood studios, award-winning agencies, leading technology firms, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring long-term alignment and collaboration.
• Embed within accounts to understand their content creation pain points and challenges, then propose specific Runway solutions.
• Identify and prototype highly targeted new markets and opportunities for Runway's products.
• Develop a deep, functional, and technical understanding of Runway's current products and future roadmap.
• Hands-on onboarding of new partners to the platform and/or API, supporting their long-term expansion and technical understanding of Runway leverage.
• Provide high-impact feedback to Product, Engineering, and Creative teams to improve the product experience for partners.
• Analyze, track, and report on existing partnership performance using BI tools and data.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 5+ years of overall experience in customer-facing roles, engaging C-level technical audiences within complex global organizations, ideally in tech, finance, or consulting.
• Proven experience leading complex implementations of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with expansive ownership and ruthless prioritization.
• A strong bias towards action, believing no task is too small, and a track record of rapid prototyping and iterative customer collaboration.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, especially with executives and leaders.
• High technical aptitude for understanding complex technologies, tools, systems, and issues.
• A creative mindset, thinking beyond past checklists and playbooks.
• Highly resourceful, with the ability to create structure and work autonomously amidst ambiguity.
• Experience with data tooling and BI systems (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, Retool).
• New York or San Francisco-based preferred.
