About the Commercial Account Executive Role
We are expanding our commercial team and seeking growth-minded individuals passionate about the future of AI and content creation. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will identify opportunities where Runway's cutting-edge technology can solve business problems, guiding companies on strategically integrating Runway into their existing workflows.
What You'll Do
- Identify new prospective customers and manage the entire commercial process from initial engagement to contract signing.
- Develop innovative applications for our software and actively experiment with these solutions in customer conversations.
- Craft compelling narratives that clearly articulate the immense value and potential of Runway's technology to various businesses.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and innovators, including executives and senior leadership, to foster partnerships for deploying and expanding Runway usage across their organizations.
- Engage in real-time prototyping with customers to demonstrate practical applications and benefits.
- Grow and expand existing customer accounts by leveraging data-driven insights.
- Collaborate closely with our Research, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to share critical market insights and pinpoint potential growth opportunities.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of comprehensive experience in a growth, Go-To-Market (GTM), or customer-facing role, with a strong preference for experience within a high-growth technology company.
- A natural curiosity for the Runway product and an eagerness to personally use and test the technology.
- Passion for educating prospects about the transformative potential of AI across diverse industries.
- Proven ability to build trust and engage authentically with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical experts to creative professionals and business executives.
- Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- The capability to thrive and adapt in a constantly changing and rapidly growing environment.
- While sales experience is preferred, it is not strictly required; relevant experience in customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager is also highly valued.
