Job Description

About Maison Ruinart

The Maison Ruinart was founded on September 1, 1729, by Nicolas Ruinart. His uncle, a learned Benedictine monk, Dom Thierry Ruinart, had a stroke of genius. He foresaw that this new "sparkling wine," developed in his native Champagne and adored by European royal courts, was destined for a bright future. The creation of Maison Ruinart coincided with the dawn of the "Age of Enlightenment" in France and the French art de vivre. A true culture of "good and beautiful" emerged in France, favoring a refined, elegant, light, sophisticated, delicate, and rare taste. Ruinart's vintages naturally found their place within this. Driven by a constant quest for excellence and the absolute, the Maison has chosen Chardonnay, a rare and fragile grape, as the guiding thread for all its vintages.
