About The Role

As Rubrik's Manager, Project Management Office, you are the architect of our execution engine, bridging the gap between high-level executive vision and boots-on-the-ground project delivery. Your primary goal is to ensure every project aligns with strategic goals, is delivered on time, and most importantly, adds tangible value.

Core Responsibilities

  • Governance & Methodology: Establish and refine project management standards, defining the "how" of our work, whether Agile, Waterfall, or a pragmatic hybrid.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive view of all active and pending projects, proactively identifying and mitigating bottlenecks.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize the project pipeline, ensuring focus on key strategic initiatives.
  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across projects, balancing team workload and project timelines.
  • Reporting & Transparency: Develop high-level dashboards for the C-suite, providing clear insights into project health, budgets, and ROI.
  • Mentorship: Coach project managers and team leads on best practices to enhance their delivery capabilities.

What You Need To Have

  • The Experience: 5+ years in project/program management, with at least 3 years specifically leading or building a Project Management Office.
  • The Credentials: PMI-PMOCP, PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP certifications are preferred, but a proven track record of delivery is highly valued.
  • Tool Mastery: Deep expertise in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • The "Soft" Skills: Ability to navigate conflicting stakeholder interests and drive consensus effectively.
  • Pragmatism: Discern when to adhere to process and when to streamline for efficient project progression.
