Marketing Automation Specialist AI & Workflow Systems
On the Performance & Automation team, the Marketing Automation Specialist (AI & Workflow Systems) will design, build, and optimize automation workflows that improve marketing operations, reporting, and decision-making across the agency.This role sits at the intersection of marketing, systems thinking, and AI. You will focus on translating business logic and performance marketing needs into scalable automation systems using tools such as n8n, Make, and Zapier.In this remote role, you will work closely with the CEO and performance team to connect data sources, streamline workflows, and build intelligent systems that enhance speed, accuracy, and overall client impact.About Us

Automation & Workflow Development
- Build and maintain automation workflows using low/no-code tools such as n8n, Make, and Zapier
- Design systems that connect marketing platforms and trigger automated actions based on performance data
- Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable automation logic
Data Integration & Systems Design
- Connect platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify, and reporting tools to centralize data
- Develop structured workflows that ensure consistent, reliable data flow across systems
- Design and maintain dashboards and alert systems to monitor KPIs and campaign performance
AI & Process Optimization
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to assist in reporting, summarization, and insight generation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement automation-driven solutions
- Continuously explore and implement new tools and systems to improve efficiency and output
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with media buyers and strategists to implement automations that improve campaign feedback loops
- Translate technical workflows into clear, business-friendly outputs
- Support cross-functional execution by ensuring systems align with marketing objectives
You Have
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, automation, or systems-focused roles
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
- Strong understanding of API concepts and integration logic
- Familiarity with performance marketing platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, and Shopify
- Experience working with Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, and LTV
- Ability to interpret marketing data and translate it into actionable workflows
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
We Prefer
- Experience working in performance marketing agencies or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Funnel.io or similar data aggregation platforms
- Basic knowledge of Python or deeper API integrations
- Experience building reporting systems, dashboards, or alert frameworks
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance workflows, reporting, or decision-making
- Strong curiosity and habit of staying up to date with trends in AI, automation, and marketing systems
Compensation
Compensation for this role will be based on experience, technical expertise, and scope of responsibilities.We are open to both full-time and fractional engagements (~30+ hours per week) and will align on a structure that reflects the value you bring.This is a remote role with a strong preference for candidates based in Latin America and requires 4–5 hours overlap with EST.At Rubix, you will work closely with leadership in a high-ownership environment where speed, clarity, and initiative are valued.
