Senior Associate – IT Audit | Global Banking Practice

About the Role

The Senior Associate – IT Audit | Global Banking Practice at RSM US LLP is a temporary remote position supporting a large multinational financial institution. You will execute risk-based IT audits focused on Financial Crimes technology, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer due diligence (CDD) and KYC platforms. This role is responsible for validating consent order remediation, assessing IT controls, and delivering regulator-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based IT audits for Financial Crimes technology.
• Validate consent order remediation and MRAs/MRIAs.
• Evaluate IT general controls, application controls, and change management.
• Analyze system operations, data flows, and application workflows.
• Identify control gaps and develop actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed regulator-ready audit documentation.
• Collaborate with managers, stakeholders, and IT teams.
• Manage audit areas independently while meeting deadlines.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

4–7 years of IT Audit experience in financial institutions or consulting, with regulatory remediation and IT controls expertise. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, CAMS, CFE, CRISC, CISSP, or CRCM are mandatory.
