Role Overview: Risk Consulting Cyber Compliance Data Protection Privacy Managing Director

This role is embedded within our Cyber Risk and Data Protection group. It involves building and overseeing our Data Protection Practice (data privacy), interpreting data protection laws, and managing cybersecurity risks, ensuring regulatory compliance for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and expand the data protection practice team and capabilities.
  • Oversee delivery of data protection services and train staff.
  • Develop business opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
  • Communicate complex technical issues to client senior management.
  • Define risk management processes including data protection impact assessments.

Required Qualifications

7+ years in data privacy consulting; experience with NIST, ISO; proven business development skills; technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity components and key privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, HIPAA); strong people and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree related to data protection, privacy or cybersecurity. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, and experience working virtually with teams globally. Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
