Overview
The RSA Senior Designated Support Engineer role at RSA Security is a critical technical support position. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for RSA's most strategic global customers, helping manage RSA's Governance & Lifecycle solution and providing advanced technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for strategic global customers.
- Cultivate deep relationships with customer technical teams.
- Advocate for customers across Engineering, Product Management, and Sales.
- Lead diagnosis and resolution of highly complex technical issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level technical support engineers.
- Develop technical documentation and best practices.
- Lead global technical sessions and training workshops.
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise-level technical support experience.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and enterprise software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Unix/Linux and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Advanced networking and security fundamentals expertise.
- Mastery in SQL and experience with Oracle and relational databases.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and JavaEE application servers.
- Relevant certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, Security+, or CCNA are a plus.
