About The Opportunity
Elizabeth Gardens is seeking motivated Food Services Assistants who are passionate about delivering high-quality service and creating a positive dining experience for residents. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a warm, person-centred environment.
You’ll play an important part in ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals while contributing to a welcoming and comfortable dining atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, inviting dining areas
- Prepare, plate, and serve meals in line with the Food Safety Program
- Support individual dietary needs and specialised nutritional requirements
- Deliver friendly, professional service during all meal periods
What You Bring
- Experience in hospitality, food services, or aged care (advantageous)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, organisation, and a commitment to safe, hygienic practices
- A genuine interest in supporting and engaging with older people
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Proof of Covid19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu Vaccine encouraged
- Food Handling Certificate
