Overview
The EPLAN Electrical Designer position at RoviSys is a mid-level role focused on developing P&ID, electrical, network, and control panel drawings.
As an EPLAN Electrical Designer, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and other RoviSys CAD technicians, with responsibilities tailored by the lead engineer to specific project needs.

Responsibilities
Electrical Design and Configuration
- Create and edit drawings, including selecting panel hardware and cabling.
- Develop panel layouts and electrical schematics for control enclosures.
- Provide essential technical support for panel fabrication technicians.
- Review electrical designs and builds to ensure quality and compliance.
- Actively participate in design review meetings with both internal teams and customers.
- Identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement in design processes.
Field Verification (Travel ~10%)
- Engage in point-to-point-loop checks to ensure system integrity.
- Troubleshoot installation discrepancies efficiently.
- Support customer testing procedures.
- Conduct field verification of installations and completed control enclosures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience utilizing EPLAN ProPanel and/or P8 Electrical software.
- Entry-level experience with AutoCAD Electrical or LT.
- Proficient knowledge in electrical engineering design principles.
- Professional level English communication skills (C1, C2, or Native).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IEC codes and EU Low Voltage Directives.
- Entry-level Dutch language proficiency (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, or Native).
