Role Overview

The Manager, Product Analytics is responsible for leading a team of product analysts in our Barcelona office. You will work closely with product leaders to define success metrics, monitor key marketplace trends, and develop data solutions for the product organization. This role involves both leadership duties and individual contributions in data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performance team of product analysts.
  • Partner with product leaders to define success metrics.
  • Monitor and narrate trends in core marketplace efficiency metrics.
  • Develop and maintain data abstractions for self-serve data stores.
  • Prioritize and execute analytics projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support Rover’s AB testing process and decision-making framework.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years using data to drive business impact.
  • Advanced SQL and data visualization tool proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven leadership experience.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimental design.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and analysts.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in a two-sided marketplace.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, or similar programming languages.
