Overview Of Role

This Global Advisory Information Center Research Analyst position is based in the New York office. The role focuses on delivering customized financial, economic and market research to support the firm's Global Advisory business. It provides an opportunity to enhance research skills in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to financial services alongside investment banking professionals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize research databases to provide in-depth company, market, and economic analyses.
• Perform benchmarking, analyses and due diligence for pitch books and reports.
• Research ad hoc topics including thematic overviews and segment deep dives.
• Manage background and reputational searches using tools like World Check and Pacer.
• Conduct client onboarding due diligence and verify corporate data.
• Communicate research findings in writing and provide training to end-users.
• Record research and time metrics accurately and collaborate across levels.
• Work in alternating shifts: 9am-6pm ET and 12pm-8pm ET.

Education And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience, Skills And Competencies

• 1-2 years in industry/business research, competitive intelligence, or compliance (internship experience acceptable).
• Interest in financial markets and industry research.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Business Monitor, Capital IQ, Factiva, FactSet, Refinitiv Workstation, and S&P Market Intelligence.
• Experience with knowledge management tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Expected base salary is between $70,000 and $75,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus and employee benefits.
