Front Desk Agent at Rotana Hotels
Rotana Hotels is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Front Office professionals eager to advance their careers. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be crucial in delivering professional, customer-focused service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, aiming for high customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival to departure.
- Ensure guests are personally greeted by name (if known) and escorted to their room, creating a welcoming and expected feeling.
- Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization, assisting guests with hotel activity inquiries and requests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, attractions, and other relevant information to respond effectively to guest queries.
- Stay informed about daily rate levels to be sold and current occupancy levels.
- Accurately administer Front Desk cashiering standards and comply with all established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Process accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring precise postings of all incidental charges using computerized Front Office systems.
- Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of their stay are disclosed.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies, procedures, and service standards, along with full knowledge of hotel facilities and happenings.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences:
Ideally, candidates will possess a degree in hospitality coupled with prior experience in a hotel's Front Office Department. Essential skills include excellent written and verbal English communication, proficiency in an additional language, strong interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving aptitude. Computer literacy and previous experience with Opera are considered significant advantages.
