Job Overview

Ross Video is embarking on the creation of a next-generation internal cloud platform, destined to serve as the foundational bedrock for dozens of products across our comprehensive broadcast, production, and enterprise ecosystem. This is a greenfield (0 → 1) platform build, offering substantial architectural influence and the chance to fundamentally shape how teams develop, deploy, authenticate, observe, and integrate software across both cloud and hybrid environments.

We are seeking a Platform Product Manager / Technical Product Owner with profound expertise in collaborating with platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE teams. Your role will involve defining and delivering critical foundational capabilities such as provisioning workflows, deployment models, identity and access management, robust observability solutions, and shared internal services.

This distinct role focuses intensely on internal platform development, emphasizing developer experience, architectural consistency, and driving widespread adoption of shared capabilities across multiple teams, rather than managing typical feature-centric product development.

You will be instrumental in defining the overarching platform vision, meticulously managing the technical backlog, working in close partnership with platform architects and engineers, and spearheading adoption initiatives across numerous internal product teams.

What the job is all about

• Own the platform roadmap, backlog, and technical requirements.
• Define provisioning workflows, deployment models, and shared internal services.
• Drive Identity and Access Management (IAM), observability, and internal API/service patterns.
• Collaborate closely with platform engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
• Improve internal developer experience and drive cross-team adoption.
• Work across hybrid cloud, multi-service, and microservices environments.

Who you are

• 4+ years as a Platform Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or equivalent role, working directly with platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps teams.
• Strong familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform/Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, microservices, IAM, API platforms, and observability tools.
• Proven experience enabling multiple engineering teams through shared services.
• Ability to understand and influence architectural decisions effectively, without needing to be the lead architect.
• Adept at prioritizing complex technical backlogs based on value, risk, and strategic impact.
