You will be instrumental in applying the Deming Cycle principles to manage deadlines, costs, and performance delivery.

Responsibilities – What to expect:

• Leadership of extensive, complex customer projects with high revenue targets throughout the complete life cycle from order acceptance to customer acceptance.
• Application of the Deming Cycle with regard to deadlines, costs, and performance delivery.
• This includes:
  • Definition of project structures and design of the structural plan.
  • Definition and agreement of work packages, e.g., definition of scope of delivery, demarcation of deliveries, determination of target costs and deadlines, definition and determination of conditions.
  • Creation and coordination of the schedule and determination of contractual key points.
  • Review of interim results in the project process based on milestones.
  • Initiation of corrective measures and coordination with the regional sales organization, customers, contractual partners, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Subsequent adjustment of the project status and process.
  • Ensuring project controlling to achieve economic targets.
  • Management of contractual partners regarding interfaces, deadlines, and services.
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of project tools and methods.
  • Leading an (potentially international) project team.

Qualifications – What we're looking for:

• Successfully completed engineering degree or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally a certified project manager according to IPMA.
• Competence in leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in government business.
• Experience in dealing with other cultures.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Cross-divisional networked thinking and assertiveness.
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working, as well as organizational talent.
• Willingness to travel.
