Overview

The Product Manager Variant and Product Information Management role at Rolls-Royce focuses on leading the variant management and PIM strategy, steering product evolution, and ensuring continuous improvement through data and market trend analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and evolve variants management and PIM strategies.
  • Analyze and reduce product variants and components.
  • Develop, agree, and implement the PIM roadmap and budget.
  • Identify and prioritize requirements and use cases to enhance user experience, productivity, and profitability.
  • Increase system usage through new information release and use cases.
  • Monitor market and technology trends and derive action plans.
  • Advise and support stakeholders on product information matters.
  • Manage external software provider partnerships.
  • Lead interdisciplinary workshops and develop presentations for top management.
  • Communicate with business units, IT, and central functions.
  • Support Rolls-Royce Power Systems’ overall portfolio strategy.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business informatics, engineering, business administration, or similar.
  • Multiple years of professional and project leadership experience in product management or IT.
  • High analytical and conceptual skills with an innovative business mindset.
  • Proven experience leading interdisciplinary teams and presenting to senior management.
  • Excellent command of English.
