We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. What You Will Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
- Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance overall security posture.
- Maintain and Setup Security tooling both on prem and in the Cloud environment.
- Maintain and configure security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Document security incidents, findings, and mitigation strategies.
Who We’re Looking For
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- JD/PhD
- In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, NDR, Forensic Tooling, Firewalls.
- Understanding of network security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO27001.
- Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC.
- Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and secure network design principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
