About the Role

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to influence and shape the future of its Defence business in India. In this role, you will work with business and external stakeholders to deliver key programme milestones as part of the Defence Combat strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines including controls system design and software development.
  • Ensure design solutions are tolerant of extreme environments.
  • Apply systems engineering, robust design, optimization, integration and innovative tools.
  • Define physical and functional systems to meet customer requirements within weight, cost, and quality criteria.
  • Maintain technical responsibility through the technical approval process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Good understanding of Gas Turbine Engines and their sub-systems.
  • Experience with controls hardware requirements, sensors, actuators, and integration.
  • Familiarity with flow-meters, fuel pumps, oil pumps, valves, and servo-drives.
  • Experience with test bed environments and hardware-in-loop testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
