About Rocket Lab

About the Security Analyst Intern Role

As a Security Analyst Intern at Rocket Lab, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will support the Security Team across various projects. You will help deploy security education, training, and awareness initiatives while contributing to physical security projects, threat assessments, and awareness campaigns designed to protect Rocket Lab’s personnel and assets.

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will thrive in ambiguity and work in high-performing teams. Requirements include enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar, with a minimum of one semester remaining post internship and a competitive GPA. Some work experience or project work is required. Additional qualifications such as a higher GPA or military experience are considered a plus.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site internship for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting January, February, or March 2026. Candidates must meet U.S. export regulations requirements if applying in U.S. offices, and background checks will apply for New Zealand office positions.
