Registered Nurse - Home Care (Full-Time, Days)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Attributes:

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Conduct initial assessments; establish a plan of care and provide prescribed treatments and demonstrated nursing abilities; coordinate the delivery of 24-hour care.
• Communication: Counsel and guide individuals and families towards self-help in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental problems.
• Evaluation & Documentation: Conduct reassessment of each patient on a regular basis; maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation; supervise and serve as a resource to all home care staff.

Required Qualifications:

Nursing Diploma required, ASN preferred.

Education:

AS: Nursing (Required)

Licenses / Certifications:

• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
• RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Physical Requirements:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Pay Range:

$75,733.00 - $101,014.00
