The Position: Ophthalmology Customer Partnering Manager

At Roche, the daily question that drives us is: What do patients need now? As an Ophthalmology Customer Partnering Manager, you are the answer. You actively shape the care landscape for people with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and diabetic macular edema (DMO), creating real added value – for patients, the healthcare system, and for us.

Responsibilities

  • Develop impactful strategies: You analyze patient care pathways (Patient Journey), identify hurdles and opportunities, and derive effective measures from them.
  • Knowledge transfer at eye level: You conduct in-depth scientific exchange with medical experts and ensure the correct and appropriate use of our established medicines.
  • Shape partnerships: You are the central contact person for your target customers and build sustainable, cooperative relationships along the entire patient journey.
  • Energize networks: You proactively plan and organize training events and product training for doctors and medical professionals, both digitally and on-site.
  • Optimize care: You actively shape regional care structures to optimally position our portfolio in the best interest of patients.

Qualifications

You are a communication-strong and strategically thinking personality who passionately builds bridges between science and practice.

  • Your Foundation: You have a completed university degree (e.g., in medicine, natural sciences, or economics) and meet the requirements as a pharmaceutical consultant according to §75 AMG.
  • Your Experience: You already have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in scientific field service or a comparable customer-oriented role.
  • Your Drive: Successful sales conversations, conducted with enthusiasm and conviction, are your contribution to providing patients with our innovative products.
  • Your Communication Skills: You communicate confidently and cooperatively in German and English, both in person and via digital channels, and can clearly convey complex scientific content.
  • Your Team Spirit: You enjoy working cross-functionally in a team, appreciate an open feedback culture, and possess a valid driver's license for mobility in your region.
