Position Overview

The Head of Global Clinical Operations in Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED) is responsible for providing comprehensive strategic and operational guidance for all clinical programs. This role collaborates with pRED senior leadership and global teams to ensure high quality, ICH/GCP compliant clinical trial delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the clinical operations vision and strategy.
• Manage the early development clinical portfolio with full fiscal responsibility.
• Build and lead a diverse global clinical operations chapter of about 80 employees.
• Act as a spokesperson in governance review and decision-making bodies.
• Collaborate with global heads to improve clinical trial processes and systems.

Your Impact

You will guide the chapter towards patient focus, efficient clinical programs, and high quality execution. You will ensure regulatory standards, sponsor early clinical development initiatives, and continuously evolve the clinical operations capabilities.

Your Profile

With +15 years in pharmaceutical clinical operations and +10 years in strategic leadership, you have a proven record in managing matrix teams, guiding complex clinical programs, and fostering collaborative environments. Advanced degrees (MD, PhD, PharmD, or DVM) are preferred.
