About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our AI Solutions team. Your mission will be to design and develop the backend architecture and cloud infrastructure for the team's AI solutions and digital platforms for national and international client projects.

Your Impact

• You will be key in designing and deploying AI platforms used by multiple clients, ensuring they are robust, modular, and scalable.
• You will design scalable backend architectures for AI solutions and digital platforms.
• You will lead production deployments on AWS/Azure (containers, serverless, CI/CD).
• You will define technical standards, APIs, and team best practices.
• You will ensure design and integration with corporate systems (ERP, CRM, SAP).
• You will collaborate with the Tech Lead on AI solution architecture decisions: LLM serving, data pipelines, and RAG infrastructure.
• You will identify technical debt and propose improvements to existing infrastructure.
• You will be a technical reference in backend and cloud within the AI team, reporting to the AI Tech Lead.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• 4-6 years of experience in backend development.
• At least 2-3 years in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
• Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English.

Technical Knowledge Expected

• Demonstrated experience in AWS and/or Azure: managed services, application deployment, production environment configuration.
• Proficiency in containers and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes at an operational level.
• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Python and Typescript as primary languages with proficiency in backend patterns: REST APIs, microservices, dependency management, and testing.
• Judgment to design scalable, modular, and secure systems, with a vision for replicability across projects.
• Experience integrating with corporate systems: SAP, ERP, CRM, or similar.

Highly Valued

• Experience in deploying and operating AI solutions in production: LLM serving, model monitoring, RAG architectures.
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Familiarity with automation tools (n8n or others) and low-code environments.
• Experience collaborating with Frontend teams (UI/UX).
• Experience in multi-client projects or in a technology consultancy.
• Certifications in AWS or Azure (Solutions Architect, Developer, or equivalent).
