About the Role
Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect in 3D immersive digital experiences. As a Finance Analytics Engineer at Roblox, you will be a key player in shaping our data ecosystem by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for the Finance organization and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
- Act as the liaison between Finance and Data Engineering teams.
- Optimize and manage the Redshift data warehouse for data integrity.
- Build and maintain data models for business metrics and KPIs.
- Implement data quality checks and collaborate with finance process owners.
- Document pipelines, models, and business logic for transparency.
- Translate finance requirements into scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of data-focused experience in data engineering or analytics.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (preferably Redshift).
- Proficiency in Python and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience working with finance or business operations teams.
- Interest in learning core financial modeling concepts.
Work Environment
This position is based in the San Mateo, CA office and requires onsite work Tuesday-Thursday with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
