The Content Design Intern position is part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program, located in San Mateo, CA. As a Content Design Intern, you will work within the Design and Creative team alongside product managers and engineers, helping to elevate Roblox’s voice while crafting compelling narratives and user experiences across our platform.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the development of cohesive, engaging content that improves our players’ and creators’ experiences.
• Support the evolution of content design systems that unify our voice across the entire product ecosystem.
• Apply design thinking and information architecture principles to ensure our interface is effortless to use and trusted by all audiences on the platform.
• Partner closely with Product Designers and UX Researchers to craft user-centric experiences and solve complex challenges.

What You Have

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree in English or another language, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
• Passion about accessibility, safety, and ensuring that every piece of content feels inclusive to a global audience.
• Proficiency in Figma, with an understanding of how to work within design files.
• Excitement to work at the intersection of creativity and technology, crafting narratives that inspire and connect a global community.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is $36 USD per hour. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to internship opportunities.

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
