About The Role

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Driving loading shovel or dump truck in a safe & efficient manner.
• Loading of customer vehicles in a safe and a timely fashion.
• Operating and monitoring stone processing plants as required.
• Actively involved in maintaining good housekeeping around the production process plants.
• Involved in maintenance duties.
• Carry out daily inspection of the assigned vehicle(s) to ensure it is maintained in a good working condition.
• Complying with all health and safety requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
• Trustworthy.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with employees and customers visiting the site.
• Experience in operating machinery such as excavator, loading shovel or dump truck.
• Possession of a valid Solas QSCS card for the above machines would be an advantage.
• An ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.
