Role Summary
The Staff Technical Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of complex software programs, ranging from embedded systems to cloud services. This role bridges software engineering, product management, and other technical teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of full-stack software programs and maintain technical schedules.
- Lead integration of ECU hardware and software on test assets.
- Implement improvements in integration workflows and testing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders for technical feasibility.
- Lead Agile teams with sprint planning and dependency management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate risks/trade-offs.
- Promote best practices including CI/CD to boost development velocity.
- Identify risks in software delivery and implement mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and guide Technical Program Managers.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in technical or engineering program management, deep understanding of SDLC, and expertise in Agile development and program management tools.
Niche Qualifications
- Experience in software or hardware product development.
- Familiarity with OTA software update strategies.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
