About The Role

The Senior Security Engineer role at Rippling is part of the Detection and Response Team. You will build a world class incident response function and detection infrastructure to safeguard our Production and Corporate environments.

What You Will Do

• Respond to security events and lead incident investigations.
• Improve processes, procedures, and detection technologies.
• Develop tools to gather security telemetry from cloud systems.
• Automate workflows to reduce response time.
• Build detection rules and develop incident playbooks.
• Lead threat hunting practices and enhance security controls.

What You Will Need

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Expertise in security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting in a cloud environment.
• Strong AWS security controls knowledge.
• Experience with coding for automation and alert enrichment.
• Proficiency in SIEM, SOAR platforms, and forensics across macOS, Windows & Linux.
• Understanding of adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK principles.
