Overview
Riot Games, established in 2006, is looking for a dedicated Junior Linux Systems Engineer for its Wild Rift TechOps team. This role focuses on deploying, managing, and ensuring high performance for a live gaming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the Wild Rift production environment.
- Quickly troubleshoot and correct system faults or failures.
- Perform systems maintenance and infrastructure updates.
- Work independently on mission-critical projects.
- Create and document procedures and operational tools.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of technical operations experience supporting live 24/7 services. Expertise in managing and deploying Linux systems on cloud platforms using an Infrastructure as Code approach, network troubleshooting, and relational database management. Proficiency in Python or Golang for tool development alongside spoken and written Mandarin in a business setting.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in supporting game infrastructure and using containerized services.

Join a diverse team in Sydney with a passion for gaming. This is a 12-month contract position (with possible extension) offering a remote arrangement within Australia (preferred locations: Sydney or Perth).
