Who We Need
We are building an industry-defining accounting & finance software and seek a Solutions Consultant to help Rillet transition to its next growth phase. As an early member of the GTM team, you will work directly with the CEO, GTM, and Product teams to help prospects evaluate Rillet as their next ERP. You will be uniquely positioned to build strategies, test hypotheses, and lay the foundation for Rillet's future GTM motion.
We value in-person collaboration near our NYC or San Francisco offices (or willingness to relocate), though remote candidates are considered. For in-office team members, Tuesdays and Thursdays are required, plus one flexible in-office day.
What You'll Do
- Remove technical objections: Play a key role in the sales cycle by addressing all technical questions from potential customers. Understand their business requirements and existing tech stack, clearly articulate Rillet's integration, and demonstrate process improvements. You will expertly answer most technical questions immediately.
- Perform sales demonstrations: Set up tailored sandbox environments and data to showcase specific customer use cases. Deliver high-impact demonstrations, adapting to customer needs and answering questions, serving as their trusted consultant throughout the purchase process.
- Execute relentlessly: Work cross-functionally, providing real-time prospect feedback to founders and product teams. Experiment with demo styles, craft thoughtful follow-ups, and act as a highly responsive advisor to prospective customers, accelerating sales velocity.
- Represent Rillet: Be the face of the company, applying high customer empathy and structured problem-solving to ensure delightful prospect interactions. You will comfortably market to users with high finance and accounting proficiency, deepening your domain knowledge.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of industry accounting experience, including revenue recognition, month-end close, and multi-entity consolidation.
- 2+ years of experience supporting the sales cycle with implementation and/or customer support for accounting/financial solutions.
- Knowledge of the ecosystem of tools in the office of the CFO.
- Excellent communicator who can make complex concepts easy to understand and knows how to write and speak conversationally.
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.
- CPA certification or having started your career in audit is a plus.
