Who We Need

We are building an industry-defining accounting and finance software and require a Solutions Consultant to help Rillet transition to its next company phase. As we expand our Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will collaborate directly with the CEO, GTM, and Product teams to guide prospects through evaluating Rillet as their next ERP. As an early GTM team member, you'll shape strategies, test hypotheses, and establish Rillet's future GTM motion. We value in-person collaboration and are seeking candidates within commuting distance of our NYC or San Francisco offices, or willing to relocate. Remote candidates are also considered. For those in our hubs, in-office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day. Some roles may require more in-office time.

What You'll Do

  • Remove Technical Objections: Address all technical customer questions during the sales cycle. Understand business requirements and existing technology stacks, clearly articulate Rillet's integration capabilities, and propose process improvements. Answer most technical questions immediately without needing to consult the Product team.
  • Perform Sales Demonstrations: Set up sandbox environments and tailor data to showcase customer-specific use cases. Deliver high-impact demonstrations, answer questions, and adapt based on customer needs, acting as their consultant throughout the purchase process.
  • Execute Relentlessly: Collaborate cross-functionally to provide real-time prospect feedback to founders and product teams. Experiment with demo styles, craft thoughtful customer follow-ups, and serve as a responsive advisor. Roll up your sleeves to accelerate sales velocity.
  • Represent Rillet: Act as the face of the company, applying high customer empathy and structured problem-solving to ensure delightful prospect interactions. You'll market to users with strong finance and accounting proficiency, expanding your domain knowledge.

Who We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of industry accounting experience, including revenue recognition, month-end close, and multi-entity consolidation.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the sales cycle with implementation and/or customer support for accounting/financial solutions.
  • Knowledge of the ecosystem of tools in the office of the CFO.
  • Excellent communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts and speaking conversationally.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • CPA certification or early career in audit is a plus.
