Overview

The Service Manager at Riggs Cat is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily activities for the Service Department while providing leadership and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Schedule service and manage work orders
  • Track technicians’ time and dispatch field technicians
  • Advise technicians on technical issues in the shop
  • Manage warranties on engines, machines, and equipment
  • Prepare quotes and ensure timely work order closures
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Manage and supervise the Service Department staff and operations

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of service department supervision or management experience, strong analytical skills, the ability to process paperwork and use office equipment, and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, or evenings if needed.

Important Information

This role requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and prolonged communication. Travel up to 10% is required. The job environment is moderately loud with potential physical demands.
