About The Role
As a designer on the brand creative team, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our visual identity across digital and physical touchpoints. This role goes beyond execution. You will develop cohesive visual treatments, explore textures, layers, color, and illustration, and translate abstract ideas into distinctive, high-impact themes for product launches and campaigns.Job Responsibilities
- Brand Identity Development: Lead and contribute to the evolution of the brand’s visual identity, including typography systems, color palettes, textures, and graphic elements that create a cohesive and recognizable brand language.
- Visual Storytelling & Illustration: Create original illustrations, layered compositions, and visual systems that communicate ideas, elevate campaigns, and bring depth and personality to the brand.
- Creative Direction Support: Work closely with the Senior Art Director to explore and execute creative directions, moodboards, and conceptual frameworks that define campaigns and brand evolution.
- Texture & Composition Exploration: Design with a strong focus on textures, layering, and visual depth — combining photography, graphics, and illustration to create distinctive and premium visual outputs.
- Cross-Channel Design Execution: Apply brand identity consistently across digital platforms (web, social, campaigns) and physical assets (packaging, print, wholesale materials), ensuring a unified visual experience.
- Collaborative Design: Partner with marketing, product, and creative teams to translate business and campaign objectives into compelling visual outputs aligned with brand strategy.
- Creative Innovation: Continuously push creative boundaries by experimenting with new styles, techniques, and visual trends while maintaining brand standards.
- Asset & System Management: Maintain and evolve design systems, libraries, and brand assets, ensuring scalability, organization, and accessibility across teams.
- Design Reviews & Feedback: Actively participate in creative critiques, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews, contributing ideas and elevating overall creative quality.
- Active Participation: Engage in team discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions to contribute valuable insights and improve design processes.
- Asset Optimization: Develop and optimize graphics and images for online platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and compatibility with web and mobile interfaces.
- Image Compositing: Create high-impact, custom visuals by seamlessly compositing multiple images into cohesive, polished graphics that align with brand and creative direction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in visual design, brand design, or a related field, with a strong focus on identity systems, illustration, and creative direction.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing brand identity systems, illustration work, use of textures, layers, and composition, campaign or storytelling-driven design, and strong E-Commerce design samples.
- Design Expertise: Strong understanding of visual treatment development, typography and layout systems, color theory and visual hierarchy, composition, layering, and texture integration, and brand consistency across multiple touchpoints.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion design is a plus. Figma (for design, collaboration and layout systems).
- Creative Thinking: Ability to translate abstract ideas into visually compelling concepts and execute them with precision and originality.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for advanced visual composition and illustration.
- Strong understanding of visual systems and scalable brand assets.
- Experience creating print-ready and digital assets across channels.
- Familiarity with design systems and asset organization practices.
- Proficiency in Notion, Slack, and GSuite for collaboration and workflow management.
