Position Profile

The Account Sales Manager is responsible for driving business development and cultivating relationships that lead to increased market share and customer success. This role requires a deep understanding of customer environments and the ability to uncover and solve business challenges by positioning Ricoh’s portfolio as a strategic solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute business development strategies to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers in new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and solve critical business challenges through research and consultative engagement.
  • Focus on customer needs and buying behaviors to tailor solutions.
  • Communicate Ricoh’s value through compelling storytelling and solution alignment.
  • Articulate the financial impact of customer buying decisions.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations in-person and virtually.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of business development experience.
  • Preferred experience in IT and/or software services.
  • Understanding of document workflow solutions and P&L components.
  • Strong research, analytical, and relationship management skills.

Working Conditions

This role is primarily office-based with standard lighting and ventilation conditions. It involves interpreting complex information while mostly remaining sedentary, with occasional walking or light lifting. Expect moderate travel (approximately 20%) including overnight trips.
