Role Summary

As a Pack Operator, you will be crucial to the efficient functioning of packaging equipment and overall warehouse operations. This role demands a proactive approach to ensuring production readiness, optimizing operational efficiencies, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all scheduled production can be met by completely stocking raw materials and packaging materials before line setup.
• Optimize operational efficiencies across production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations to support facility goals.
• Minimize waste by optimizing ingredient and packaging material usage.
• Maintain a consistently organized and clean production floor.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure production adheres to strict Quality and production standards.
• Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by strictly following and enforcing established standards, procedures, and legal regulations, including SOP's, GMP's, OSHA, and HAACP guidelines.
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements for line efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues in the mill and loadout departments, providing assistance as needed.
• Perform duties requiring regular presence on the plant floor, involving lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasional work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, or snow).

Qualifications

• Prior experience in packaging or warehouse environments is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated experience operating tractor-trailer and forklift equipment.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
