About RI-MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research center located in Montreal, Quebec and affiliated with McGill University. Position Summary
The RSN (Research and Strategy Network) within RI-MUHC is spearheading a digital health transformation through collaborative initiatives, networking, and stakeholder engagement. The Lead Communication and Event Planning role will design and execute communication strategies and organize events including conferences, webinars, and workshops.
General Duties
- Communication & Public Relations: Define strategy, manage narrative, content creation and public representation.
- Design & Digital Content: Create engaging visuals using tools such as Canva and Adobe Express, and maintain web content.
- Events Management and Knowledge Mobilization: Plan, coordinate and execute events and manage essential logistics.
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a scientific discipline with strong communications skills, along with 3-5 years’ experience in event planning, social media management, newsletter tools, and graphic design, especially within the health or research sector.
