Overview
Work for a world-renowned research institute in Montreal. The Research Institute of the MUHC pushes the boundaries of biomedical science and health research while focusing on digital health transformation.
Position Summary
As the Lead Communication and Event Planning professional, you will support the RSN in executing digital health research communication strategies and coordinating events such as conferences, webinars, and workshops. You will work closely with the Director and Co-Directors, manage external communications, and represent the organization publicly.
General Duties
- Communication & Public Relations: Define communication strategy, audience mapping, and manage social media presence on LinkedIn.
- Design & Digital Content: Create engaging visuals using Canva and Adobe Express, and maintain website brand consistency.
- Events Management & Knowledge Mobilization: Plan and coordinate events, manage logistics, and collaborate with partners.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience in event organization, social media management, graphic design, and the health/research sectors.
Work Details
- Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)
- Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Location: Montreal, Quebec
- Pay Scale: $55,692.00 - $103,412.40 (commensurate with experience)
