Your Responsibilities as Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist
As a Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist, you will be the specialist within the HR team, focusing on finding, attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. This strategic role also encompasses long-term strategic workforce planning. You know how to approach people and convince them of the value of working in an international logistics environment. Your tasks include:
- Actively recruiting professionals via platforms like Workday, social media, job sites, and your professional network.
- Building and maintaining a talent pool for current and future vacancies.
- Guiding the entire Talent Acquisition process, from intake with managers to planning and coordinating interviews.
- Analyzing recruitment needs and translating them into effective, targeted approaches.
- Strengthening the employer brand through marketing and recruitment campaigns that align with Rhenus culture and values.
- Actively participating in regional internship markets and open days at schools.
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience and guiding new colleagues toward effective onboarding.
- Being instrumental and involved in setting up and developing technical and administrative processes within Talent Acquisition & Development and HR, ensuring overview, structure, and optimization.
- Responsible for accelerating and mentor coaching the individual development of Rhenus talents.
- Structuring monthly talent reviews and making performance and potential measurable and discussable for strategic workforce planning with stakeholders.

About You
As an HR team player, you also take an active role as an HR sparring partner for the organization, providing input and contributing to the optimization of HR work processes. You also monitor the HR annual plan together with the HR team. You possess:
- HBO level (higher vocational education), preferably in HRM.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition within the logistics sector is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Youserve / Workday is a plus.
- Experience with sourcing and recruitment via social media.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to analyze and optimize recruitment results.
- Decisiveness and comfort with clear choices and difficult conversations.
- Empathy and the ability to easily switch between job groups and levels.
