What You Will Do
Competitive base pay: $30–$50 per hour (final rate may vary by scope and qualifications).

You will design experiments, build prototypes, evaluate model/system performance, and communicate findings to stakeholders in a distributed team.
What You Will Do
- Translate problem statements into testable hypotheses and run reproducible experiments
- Implement prototypes and evaluation harnesses in Python; maintain experiment logs for repeatability
- Perform statistical analysis, error analysis, and baseline/ablation studies
- Collaborate on dataset curation, data labeling strategy, and QA evaluation to improve training data quality
- Document results, risks, and recommendations via clear technical writing and research summaries
- Mid-Senior experience delivering applied research or R&D outcomes in a STEM domain
- Strong experimental design and statistical reasoning (e.g., hypothesis testing, confidence intervals)
- Proficiency in Python and common data science tooling
- Experience with ML evaluation, dataset versioning/curation, and training data quality workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, asynchronous teams
- LLM evaluation, prompt evaluation, or RLHF-adjacent workflows
- Familiarity with annotation guidelines compliance and vendor/ops labeling programs
- Exposure to MLOps and experiment tracking for reproducible research
