About the role
Online Startup Generalist
Rex.zone is hiring a full-time Online Startup Generalist to support early-stage execution across operations, product support, customer workflows, and lightweight analytics in a remote-first environment.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate cross-functional tasks across product, engineering, operations, and support using lightweight project management systems
- Track initiatives, owners, timelines, risks, and dependencies; proactively unblock execution
- Create and maintain documentation (SOPs, runbooks, internal FAQs) to improve process consistency
- Support operational reporting: weekly KPI snapshots, pipeline updates, and basic business metrics
- Assist with vendor/tools/subscription administration and renewals
- Help run experiments (landing page tests, onboarding flows, support workflows) and summarize outcomes
- Improve customer support operations by identifying issue patterns and proposing workflow changes
- Draft clear internal updates and external customer communications as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in operations, program management, business operations, customer operations, or a startup generalist role
- Strong ability to manage ambiguous tasks and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
- Comfort with spreadsheets and basic analysis (filters, pivots, simple dashboards)
- Excellent written communication for remote, async collaboration
Compensation
$30–$50 per hour (base salary).
