Overview
The Security Engineer Tool Integration & Maturity role at RevSpring is designed for a builder. This position leads efforts to secure infrastructure by owning, integrating, and optimizing the lifecycle of security tools such as SIEM, CSPM, EDR, and SOAR.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Ownership & Security Architecture: Own lifecycle of security platforms; integrate and automate tools; tune alerts and policies; maintain control maps.
- Security Maturity & Measurement: Build and maintain the Security Tool Maturity Roadmap, track KPIs and ROI, map controls to frameworks, identify gaps.
- Security Engineering & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and audits, design and implement security solutions, support compliance initiatives, and manage incident response strategies.
- Automation & Enablement: Develop scripts, embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, and maintain runbooks.
- Governance & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with procurement, risk, and compliance teams; communicate tool performance and improvements to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have experience with multiple security domains (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, CSPM, IAM, or vulnerability management), cloud security controls (AWS, Azure, or GCP), security assessments, scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell), and relevant certifications. Experience in building or managing a security tool governance framework is required. The role requires 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
